Every year as part of our membership to the BAR (British Association of Removers), we are required to undergo an annual inspection by an independent body to ensure we are maintaining the correct and highest standards as set out by the BAR and TSI.

This inspection is separated in to 3 parts. Health and Safety, Risk Assessment and Maintenance and Customer Service.

The first part, Health and Safety covers everything from ensuring that our warehouse is fully compliant with Fire, Health and Safety practice not only for our workers but also for any individuals who visit our premise including contractors and potential customers.

We ensure best practice by ensuring that all our visitors sign in to our visitors log so we are fully aware of everyone on our current premise, as well as having all fire exit points well light and visible in all area of our warehouse and ensuring that all restricted areas are controlled and monitored to ensure everyone on the site is wearing correct PPE where appropriate.

The second part, Risk Assesment and Maintenance; handles the work force side of our removals business. Our staff are all internally employed and under go regular refresher training to ensure they are able to practice the correct and safest lifting and carrying techniques to prevent any injury to themselves and additionally to prevent any accidental damage to your goods and belongings. When our removals team arrive at your property they will under go a quick risk assesment of the move to ensure they are notifying you of any potential risks they may forsee which is done in your best interest to reduce the risk of any damage and leave you with a stress free move.

The maintenance side of this section deals with our vehicles and equipment, much like a typical vehicle our removals trucks must comply to the requirements of an MOT. On top of this, as a responsible operator we must ensure that our vehicles are services and maintained regularly to ensure we are reducing the risk of any issues occuring whilst your goods are in transit. This is done to ensure that your removals is as smooth and as stress free as possible.

The final part of the inspection is Our customer services, this ranges from our subscription to services such as referenceline and checkatrade. This is to allow all of our customers the opportunity to express their views and thoughts on how we performed on the day.

In addition to this it also includes best practice for handling and resolving complaints, we understand that not every job is the same and that things will inevitably not go according to plan, it is because of this that our helpful office team is on hand to answer any questions and ideally resolve any issues you may have.
