Home Tragedy, Removals rescue and Safety Standards

Today, STV have released new about a catastrophic event that affected 50 residents in Dundee 2 years ago.

Just following on from the joys of Christmas and getting prepared for the new years celebrations, the residents of a street in Dundee were regretfully greeted by some terrible news when they arrived at their homes that day.

The land to the rear of their property had collapsed, causing a landslide causing severe issues to their homes and meaning that around 100 people need to be evacuated from their homes for safety.

What a traumatic scenario to have to live through, you are greeted by removal trucks and safety exec.

Finally the removals trucks are revisiting the street some 2 years after the tragedy, The residents are finally able to move back in to their previous homes ready for the Christmas season.

A terrible thing to live through, but through the tireless efforts of the local council they have finally been able to set their homes right, and gift the residents with an early Christmas present of a safe home.

Around 100 people were evacuated from 50 homes after the landslide in Dundee on December 30, 2013.
